NEVIS Design consultants have created the marketing materials for the relaunch of the Rutland Hotel.
Earlier in the year, Nevis created the new look for the Rutland Hotel.
The Rutland Hotel is the biggest venture yet for the Signature Pub Group. The landmark site in Scotland’s capital city boasts a bar, one hundred-cover restaurant, late lounge club plus 12 bespoke, boutique-style hand finished bedrooms.
The Hoosiers and the Mystery jets headlined the event with DJ sets throughout the night.
To grab the VIP’s attention to the event the invitation and brochures had some work to do. Working with freelance copywriter Chris Muir, Nevis developed a range of materials to promote The Rutland’s new brand identity. From internal signage, to the stationery, and from the corporate brochures to the launch night invite, all the elements gave The Rutland the same confident tone of voice.
The approach we took was to show a day in the life of the Rutland Hotel, and how it fits into the lives of people in Edinburgh. So we created text that talked individual target markets through their ideal day in Edinburgh. The things they’d like to see and do to make their stay the best it can be. And part of the experience that they love involves the Rutland Hotel. The copy reinforces the idea that the Rutland Hotel is an integral part of any trip to Edinburgh, whatever its purpose.
The finishing on the invitation and brochure reflected the materials used in the multi-million pound refurbishment. And all the marketing materials have been as well-received as the party to celebrate the relaunch.
