ELEVEN acts will appear over three nights at the first Darvel Music Festival ‘Weekender’ event next month.
The shows in Darvel Town Hall will be held on September 26, 27 and 28 with a line-up that includes Crash My Model Car, Roddy Hart, The Endrick Brothers, The Hamish Stuart Band, Session A9, Dumb Instrument and Yvonne Lyon.
“As we’re not staging a week-long festival this year, we decided it would be great to have a mini version before the full one returns in May next year,” said Weekender organiser, Neil McKenna.
“Some of the acts, by popular demand, will be returning to Darvel – these include Roddy Hart, The Hamish Stuart Band and The Endricks.
“But we’re really pleased that emerging Scottish acts like Dumb Instrument want to be involved, too.
“It’s an interesting trio of gigs with a real mix of styles to suit all tastes.”
The full line-up is:
September 26 – Crash My Model Car, Roddy Hart, The Endrick Brothers
plus Lee Patterson and Dave Bateman
September 27 – The Hamish Stuart Band, Lights Out By Nine, Funkilicious.
September 28 – Session A9, Dumb Instrument, Yvonne Lyon.
Tickets available from Ticketmaster and Tickets Scotland, Glasgow plus local outlets (see website for full details)
