Media Release: Vibrant Hello Scotland brand paves way to international expansion

HELLO Scotland has revamped its corporate logo and identity, to prepare the business for expansion into new international territories.

Established in 1996, the destination management firm has so far concentrated on creating bespoke, corporate incentive trips to Scotland. On the back of its success, it is now set on establishing operations in other countries allowing it to provide a wider variety of options to clients.

The new logo retains the use of a jigsaw piece to represent the ‘H’ in Hello, and the entire lettering in Hello Scotland will now be in purple. Different colours will be used for future operations as they are set up.

“The idea is to use colours that are directly associated with the destinations we are going to be working in,” said Isla Buchanan, general manager at Hello Scotland.

“The aim is that our prospective franchisees, up to seven in total, will offer clients the full range of experiences, from arid deserts to craggy mountains, and icy glaciers to tropical islands.

“By keeping the jigsaw H, but using different colours, we can give each of the operations we establish their own identity, while clearly making them part of the Hello corporate family we are creating.”

After 12 years, Hello Scotland feels it is time to establish an identity that can work for it over the coming decades as the business expands and develops. Remaining true to the original jigsaw design, which embodies the firm’s ability to piece together the perfect trip for clients, the use of colours establishes the flexibility required for the future.

Built on environmentally-sustainable foundations, Hello Scotland tries to communicate electronically where possible and will incorporate the new logo across its online presence and throughout its electronic presentations and dealings with clients.

An email marketing campaign will be backed up by activity from sales representatives on the ground in Germany and the Netherlands as the business gears up for the launch of its franchise package at the end of the year.
