Media Release: Inverness to host event with master marketing Director

MARKETING guru, Gerald Michaluk, is to deliver a talk on the role of the marketing director in Inverness next week at the invitation of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in Scotland (CIM).

The company director will explore the role of the marketing director at the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness on the evening of Tuesday June 3.

He will cover insights from his new book on business planning and corporate governance as well as provide an insight to systems that help marketing directors in making decisions.

CIM helps build a network of marketers and disseminates best practice amongst the business community.

Alistair Murray, CIM Scotland director, said: “As the founder of Marketing Management Services International, one of the world’s leading marketing consultancies, Gerald has a vast depth of knowledge and we’re delighted to attract him to the Highlands. We hope that many people will come along to take advantage of this great opportunity.”

The event is being sponsored by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE). HIE’s development manager for business transformation, John MacKenzie, said: “Marketing is still a key weakness amongst many businesses and I’d like to thank CIM Scotland for their positive contribution in this regard. The event brings a world-class speaker to Inverness so this is an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed.”
