1576 has launched a direct mail and trade press campaign for VELUX, to launch the roof window manufacturer’s new Solar Hot Water system to housebuilders.
The mailer dropped on June 14th, and has achieved a 19 per cent response rate after one week. The outer simply carries the message, ‘And you thought we just did windows’, and opens to reveal a VELUX branded hot water bottle and a teaser leaflet for the system.
Jacqueline Hay, of VELUX, said: “The campaign has already been very successful. Recipients have been giving positive feedback, with flattering comments about the mailer as well as interest in the product itself. We’re very pleased.”
