NHS Education for Scotland (NES) are launching a publication tomorrow (19 July)
which identifies and develops a role for maternity care assistants.
The changing context of maternity services provision in Scotland is influenced by a
number of factors including government policy, population demographics, workforce
challenges and importantly women’s choice.
