AN exclusive mix of duplexes and apartments has been launched by Wisebuild Developments following a stylish refurbishment of a Grade A-listed building in Glasgow’s Park Circus area.

Woodlands View – at Numbers 18 & 19 Woodlands Terrace – is an imaginative conversion of two listed buildings that has transformed a former architects’ office into three duplexes and three apartments that retain many original features uncovered and restored during the building process.

This is the West Lothian-based company’s first venture in Glasgow but others are being planned.

In addition, a three-bedroom Mews house with an integrated garage is to be built to the rear next year.

The building was originally two separate ones that were altered to form a single property, said Mike Green, the company’s managing director.

“We have tried to retain and restore many of the original features of this grade A listed building uncovered during the extensive refurbishment works,” he said.

“The refurbishment works have been extensive and we have renewed the roof and roof lights, made necessary structural alterations and completely upgraded the stair and entrance areas.

“The development has been designed around one of its main assets, namely the view from the front of the building. Living space has been located at the front of the building to allow full benefit of the great views over Glasgow.

“It’s an excellent, historic location where stylish living combines with all that the city has to offer in terms of business and entertainment.
