MATERNITY services in Lothian are to be significantly expanded to cope with rising numbers of births.
A new Birthing Centre at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh will be set up while maternity services at St John’s will also be upgraded under a new plan being considered by the board of NHS Lothian this week. (Wednesday, 26th November).
