HIGHLANDS and Islands based fashion and textile designer businesses are being invited to attend workshops in Inverness to help them market their products.
The series of half-day workshops, one-to-one support and advice is aimed at developing knowledge in key business areas and building up active networks.
Organised by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) the events are free and will be delivered by Upper Quartile, a Scottish based performance and management consultancy with particular expertise in the textile and clothing sector.
The first event will be held at the Drumossie Hotel, Inverness on January 28 and will focus on sourcing and supply chain management. Following a review of global trends, delegates will have the opportunity to assess options for their own business, and develop strategies for profitable growth.
The second half-day workshop on February 25 and will cover product and design, for different markets, and using trade shows and customer information to stay one step ahead of the competition.
The third and final workshop on March 25, will focus on developing business connections through networking, and practical development of marketing.
