Introduction presentations to the 54 mile 24 hour RBS Caledonian Challenge are being held across Scotland
Tuesday 13 – Thursday 22 January 2009
ORGANISeRS of The RBS Caledonian Challenge, one of Scotland’s greatest and rewarding team fundraising challenge events, being staged on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June 2009, will be hosting a series of ‘Walk of Your Life’ Presentations across Scotland and in London throughout January.
The RBS Caledonian Challenge is a unique physical and mental endurance event. Two marathons and then some make up the 54-mile walk along the West Highland Way from Gairlochy, just north of Fort William, to Auchtertyre within the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, all of which is to be completed in 24 hours.
Taking in some of Scotland’s most stunning scenery along the way the challenge starts in Gairlochy, runs through Fort William and onto Glen Coe via the ‘Devil’s staircase’ to cross the remote Rannoch Moor, through Bridge of Orchy down to the finish at Auchtertyre.
The Walk of Your Life Presentations are information based events primarily targeted at those people curious and keen to know more about taking part as well as for those about to sign up for the challenge of a lifetime.
