A TEAM of students from the Media and Audio Visual section at Stevenson College Edinburgh have won through to the second round of the prestigious Green Gown Awards in the ‘Student Initiative’ category.
As part of their research and project management studies the students from NQ Television and Broadcast Production were tasked with assessing the sustainability activities within the college.
The students presented their findings through the medium of a ‘wiki’ site containing video interviews with fellow students from around the college. Contact with Special Educational Needs Students (SEN) was the catalyst for an additional sustainability project – to fund a wormery for inclusion in the college sensory garden.
