Media Release: Threesixty Architecture designed for top ten place

ONE of Scotland’s newest architect companies, Threesixty Architecture, is aiming for a top ten spot in Scotland.

The ambitious, design-led and highly experienced team will focus on a decisive, environmentally-conscious approach to architecture and urban design.

With offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness, Threesixty Architecture is currently involved in major projects in the primary care, retail, offices and residential markets.

The practice already has an impressive list of projects, including Princes Square rebrand in Glasgow, Nairn Hospital – and it has recently completed the design for one of the four shortlisted bids for the 2014 Commonwealth Games village.

“We are unique for a professional architectural practice as we offer a lean design approach to deliver design-led solutions that are commercially viable and ‘Green’,” said Alan Anthony, Threesixty Architecture’s managing director.

“We are technically strong and commercially minded with real sector expertise in primary healthcare, retail, leisure, commercial offices, residential and master planning and urban design.

“The desire to promote the intelligent application of the right level of standardisation is demonstrated in many of our projects and offers great benefits to our clients.

“It’s an unswerving commitment on our part and one we hope will earn us recognition and continued success to drive us to a Top Ten spot very soon.”

Previously trading as PMP Architecture, a wing of the well-established, multi-disciplinary PMP Group, the new limited company has emerged from a year-long business development and marketing review that revealed
significant business opportunities in separating the divisions.

“We believe that operating and trading as an independent company, Threesixty Architecture will be even better placed to bid for, win and complete new commissions countrywide,” said Alan.

John Dunn, chair of the new company, said it had the strength, energy, experience and innovation to make a real impact in Scotland.

“Most of the carefully selected team benefit from having worked together for five to ten years and the quality and experience of the staff ensure the company is well positioned for growth,” he said.

“I am convinced the creation of Threesixty Architecture will give Alan and the team greater opportunity to further establish their identity as leading designers who deliver.”
