Media Release: Fresh outlook for Highlands and Islands Enterprise staff

THE Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) area team for the Inner Moray Firth is moving to a new office this week.

From Monday (31 August), 28 members of staff from The Green House, Inverness and High Street, Invergordon, will be based together at 4B Druimchat View, Dingwall Business Park, Dingwall.

Two members of HIE staff will remain at Aviemore Business Centre, Aviemore. Skills Development Scotland staff will continue to be based in the Green House, Inverness and High Street, Invergordon, respectively.

HIE area manager for the Inner Moray Firth, Martin Johnson, said: “This building brings the majority of our area team staff together in one office for the first time. The office will also benefit the business community in the area by providing one main point of contact with our staff.”

The move will help achieve cash savings in office rent and running costs.

To facilitate the move, the HIE offices in the Inner Moray Firth area will be providing a reduced service on Thursday August 27 and Friday August 28 2009.
