Media Release: New weekend FM schedule from Saturday 5th December 2009

TAY FM bosses have unveiled a new weekend line-up which is set to put the sparkle into Saturdays and Sundays!

Launched today, the new schedule, will be phased in over the next two weekends.

Local lass Karen B will kick it all off from 6am with all your essential weekend information and some great competitions.

Popular duo, Boogie and Dingo, will join the Tay team with their Big Bad Saturday Show – from 10am until 2pm with their irreverent mix of celeb news and views.

Listener’s favourite, Yazz, will be joined by Andy Robbie with John Milne and Mike Richardson also featuring in the new line-up.

Programme director, Gary Robinson, said:

“We are really excited about the new look to our weekends here at Tay FM. I am delighted to welcome Andy Robbie back to the station as he teams up with Yazz on a Saturday afternoon with John Milne hosting a massive four-hour party with his ‘Take-Over’ every Saturday night.

“Mike Richardson will host the ‘Best of the Top Ten at Ten’ on a Sunday with Euan and Katy with the ‘Sunday Biz’ between 1pm and 4pm. This will be an opportunity for those great interviews on ‘The Biz’ to be heard in full.

“Karen B will also be presenting a new programme ‘Amp’d’ that will be unashamedly guitar-driven with local bands featured.”
