Media Release: Christmas with a conscience – Royal Blind hosts first masquerade ball

AS Royal Blind makes the finishing touches to its very first masquerade ball, just a few tables now remain available.

Taking place on Friday 11th December, at the five-star Balmoral Hotel, the glamorous charity ball is the ideal option for a corporate party with a conscience.

Putting the fun back into fundraising, guests will enjoy a champagne reception, four-course gourmet meal with wine, plus after dinner entertainment from the Xtra Factor’s Big Swing Band.

Commenting on the new initiative, Helen Forrest, fundraising and marketing manager, said:

“We are delighted with the response to our new masquerade ball – ticket sales have gone so well that we now have only a few of the tables left.

“The initiative was introduced this year to offer people the opportunity to donate with a difference and in style.

“We have found the ball to be particularly popular for Christmas parties. Despite many companies tightening their belts this year, it’s great to see so many choosing to keep the seasonal tradition alive in aid of a worthwhile cause such as Royal Blind.”

Masquerade Ball tickets are priced at £75 per person, with all proceeds going to the Royal Blind School Appeal.
