Media Release: Russel + Aitken founding members of new CSPC

WITH the recent announcement of the creation of a new solicitors property centre, leading central Scotland law firm, Russel + Aitken, has announced its position as a founding member of the Central Solicitors Property Centre (CSPC), understood to be the first new property centre to be opened in Scotland since 1994.

The CSPC has been set-up by the GSPC and a group of leading solicitor estate agents from across central Scotland to transform the central belt property market. For sellers, the CSPC means more and better advertising for their homes for less.

Karen McLachlan, partner at Russel + Aitken, said: “We are really excited about this new venture, and about being involved right from the outset. The new CSPC presents fantastic opportunities to our clients helping them to reach a broader market.”

By bringing together all of the homes for sale in the area, the new CSPC makes it easier than ever before for buyers to find the right home. At launch, the CSPC website (www.centralSPC.co.uk) has hundreds of properties for sale, offering buyers a huge range to choose from.

All of the homes will also be advertised in The Property Guide which is available free from all participating members and from banks and building societies in the area.

GSPC chief executive, Bill Scouller, predicts that CSPC will quickly become the established leader in the central belt: “CSPC member firms already sell more property between them in the central belt than any of their competitors. By co-operating to advertise all of those properties in one location, they create an invaluable resource for both buyers and sellers. As CSPC becomes an essential source of information for buyers on homes for sale, it will also become an essential marketing tool for sellers.

“Solicitors property centres have already established themselves as the most popular way to sell property across Scotland. I am sure that the same will be true for CSPC.”

Russel + Aiken has offices across the central belt in Alloa, Denny, Edinburgh and Falkirk. The firm offers comprehensive legal advice to personal and business clients throughout from its core service areas of commercial, court, conveyancing, estate agency and private client work including wills, trusts and executries. www.russelaitken.com
