THE new interactive entertainment division of Revolver, a digitally-enabled PR agency, is to provide PR and communications services to Dundee’s Dynamo Games as the studio grows and expands.
Dundee-based Dynamo is a multiple, award-winning videogame developer. The studio is the creator of the BAFTA-winning Championship Manager series on mobile phones, as well as the cult TV quiz shows Countdown and The Crystal Maze.
Revolver is providing the company with consultancy and communications support on both corporate and consumer fronts as Dynamo plans a number of wide-ranging changes to its business.
Brian Baglow, the head of interactive entertainment at Revolver, says: “Dynamo is one of Scotland’s most successful mobile developers.
“The studio has shown time and again that it understands the market, the audience and the challenges facing developers as the industry expands and evolves. We’re very pleased to be working with Dynamo at such an exciting period in the company’s ongoing growth.”
Iain Bruce, the founder and managing director of Revolver, says: “Scotland’s videogames market tends to hide its ‘light under a bushel; and rarely lets the world see how strong, diverse and independent it is. I’m delighted that we will be helping Dynamo to pioneer news areas which promise to redefine the entire future of the games industry.”
