Media Release: Scottish legal team unveils new website revamp

LEGAL firm, Gibson Kerr, has carried out an extensive revamp of its website, in order to cement its credentials as one of Edinburgh’s top private client and family law solicitors.

The firm, which is based in the capital’s New Town and specialises in family law issues such as residential property, wills, executries and divorces and separations, has expanded its web presence to provide more in-depth advice about important legal issues for its growing list of clients.

The £2,000 revamp has seen a number of dedicated sections created on the Gibson Kerr website, providing information on the four main legal areas that the firm specialises in – family & personal law, buying & selling property, financial & tax advice, and advice on legal issues arising out of getting older.

Fiona Rasmusen, partner at Gibson Kerr, said: “Our original website was very good visually, but did not contain as much information as we would have liked about who we are and the services we provide. We realised that we needed to improve our web presence to ensure that potential clients would see how we could help them with any family law issues, rather than looking for help and advice elsewhere.

“We wanted our website to be more interactive and allow both our existing clients and any new people browsing the site to access more information about what we do – so we have broken down our services into four simple, easy-to-navigate sections. These tell you everything about what we offer; from divorces and power of attorney issues all the way through to living wills and adoption.

“In addition, we’ve included a news section that gives clients the chance to read advice columns that we have written, which look at some of the biggest and most important issues in Scottish – and UK -family law at the moment.

“We hope that our website will be seen as a reflection of our excellence in the legal sector, further establishing our credentials as one of Edinburgh’s leading legal firms specialising in private client and family law work.”

Gibson Kerr has been established in Edinburgh for more than 100 years and has an excellent reputation for providing a comprehensive service encompassing both property and personal law. The firm is run by husband and wife team Scott and Fiona Rasmusen, who provide advice on family law issues including powers of attorney, executries and wills.
