Media Release: Web agency delighted at inclusion in RAR top industry list

STAFF at a fast-growing Scottish digital company are celebrating after being added to a carefully vetted list of the UK’s best agencies.

Since QueryClick launched two years ago, it has built a ten-strong team in Edinburgh who have carved an excellent reputation for helping businesses perform as well as possible online.

Now their hard work has been rewarded with the company being added to the sought after Recommended Agency Register (RAR).

Mhairi MacLeod, search marketing client account manager at the firm, said: “We are delighted to be included on RAR, especially because you can only be included in the list if a number of your clients, who are chosen at random, are glowing about your services.

“We are extremely pleased to see the ratings and the positive comments provided by our customers.

“The reward for us all is to know that our efforts and passion shine through and our clients genuinely appreciate what we do.

“QueryClick not only provides excellent return on investment for clients, but we also offer excellent customer service. No matter how big the project or client is, we give them all equal care and attention and the same standard of service and our ratings really show this.

“The feedback from RAR reflects that we are doing our job and that we are doing it well.”

The RAR has been published for three years and aims to give potential customers a trusted guide to the best marketing agencies in the UK, based on extensive recommendations made by clients of agencies.

Access to the list is free of charge and it includes only those agencies which have been highly rated by at least three of their clients over the last 12 months.

Over 4,300 ratings have been made by clients so far this year and there are currently 579 agencies listed, 101 of which are Scottish based and only 40 of which are based in Edinburgh.

Agencies are rated at random, providing average scores out of 100. They are rated on categories which include Client service, Effectiveness, Professionalism and Value for Money amongst others and are designed to give a unique picture of the level of customer satisfaction that each supplier provides.

In QueryClick’s case a sample of four clients were approached by RAR, giving the following average scores, all of which are above average when compared with other agencies on the RAR list.

The scores can be viewed in the table below:

Category Query Click Average Rating RAR Average Rating
Client service 95 92
Creativity 94 89
Effectiveness 93 90
Professionalism 96 94
Strategic Thinking 94 87
Value For Money 94 89
Advocacy Rating 96 94

One client commented in the report: “I have been working with QueryClick for over a year. QueryClick has been instrumental in driving forward our web presence. They have seen ideas through from the drawing board to full implementation.”

Another client added: “We switched to using QueryClick a year ago; they have looked after our web strategy from thinking up new ideas, to implementing them. Our web presence has increased under their care.”

Diane Young, director of RAR, explains that the main benefit of being a recommended agency is the fact that you gain a competitive advantage over other agencies in the same sector.

She said: “All RAR agencies have achieved high ratings through independent third parties and so can gain a competitive advantage as recommended agencies are searchable on the RAR website where clients can search for new market suppliers.

“Recommended agencies can also be put forward for new client business through our client consultancy service and are also well placed to take advantage of free benefits such as listings in our publications and our special industry specific reports.”

Mhairi McLeod added: “We hope that being included on RAR will create even more new business opportunities, as clients who use RAR to search for agencies will be introduced to our services.

“The excellent rating which we achieved will also help potential clients make informed decisions, based around the quality of our customer service and the services we offer, which shines through our scores and the recommendations made so far.”
