AN Aberdeen-based leasing agency has revealed it is on track to reach a turnover of £4 million for its current financial year, and this is forecast to rise to £5 million by the end of 2012.
Stonehouse Property, which is based in the city’s Riverside Drive, was established eight years ago by Lynne Watson and employs six staff.
The high-flying property leasing agency specialises in new top quality apartments in and around Aberdeen city centre and is currently looking after a prestigious portfolio of properties worth almost £70 million.
For the last three years, the company has achieved double-digit growth in profit and is on target to achieve this again in the current financial year.
Commenting on the growth figures, Stonehouse Property finance director, Ross Murray, said:
“We are delighted to be able to report such a significant increase in turnover over the past three years, despite the reported downturn in the property sector.
“This can be attributed to the expertise within our team, which has allowed us to offer a specialist service for high-end corporate and professional leasing across the city.
“We intend to continue this growth throughout 2011 and have started the year off extremely positively with a busy month, both in terms of new properties and new tenancies. We are on track to achieve 25 per cent growth over the course of the coming year and are currently recruiting in order to ensure our service levels are maintained.”
