Media Release: Boudoir launches The Wine Lick

BOUDOIR Wine Bar in Merchant Square, in the heart of Glasgow’s cultural, fashion and food quarter, launches ‘The Wine Lick’ on Thursday 19 May at 8pm.

Wine tasting, Boudoir style, The Wine Lick lets customers enjoy five different wines at their own pace, followed by platters of antipasti in a relaxed and fun environment.

Boudoir proprietor, Darren Scott, said: “The Wine Lick is not confined to the cognoscenti. Rather, everyone is welcome, whether they are a wine expert or just looking to have a fun night out. And they can sample five different wines at their own pace.

“The Wine Lick is about the atmosphere as well as the wines. We will be on hand to tell you about the wines, answer any questions and most importantly ensure that you have a great night.”

Scheduled to be held on a Thursday evening once a month, with different wines each time, tickets to The Wine Lick cost £20 in advance or £25 on the night.

The launch of The Wine Lick follows Boudoir’s recent extension of its petite food menu to complement its extensive wine range.

Meanwhile, between 5-7pm, Boudoir offers free mixed anti pasti, comprising Milano Salami, Parma Ham, Brie, Tallegio, olives and breads.

Located on a prominent corner site, at the junction of Candleriggs and Wilson Street, Boudoir offers an intimate space featuring an opulent white, purple and black interior with plush, veiled booths and wine barrels with high-backed bar stools.
