Media Release: Top international speaker, Chris Moon, in Edinburgh, and ‘going the extra mile’ at 6 Degrees Networking

CHRIS Moon will be speaking at 6 Degrees Networking on Thursday 26th May at Bond No. 9, 84 Commercial Street, Leith, Edinburgh, EH6 6LX. 12.30 for 13.00. Ends 14.30 – Tickets from http://www.6degreesnet.com

Having survived kidnap and a landmine blast and despite losing two limbs,
Chris has completed many of the world’s toughest marathons and ultra distance races, climbed mountains, written best selling books – like ‘One Step Beyond’ – and carried the Olympic Flame.

He knows all about ‘going the extra mile’.

Chris Moon challenges the concept of limitation. His training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and experiences as an Army officer provided a world-class grounding in leadership, motivation and man-management.

Chris then became a team leader for the Halo Trust; clearing landmines in Asia and Africa. When kidnapped by Khmer Rouge guerrillas, he become one of the few Westerners to survive such an ordeal.

Then in 1995, while working in Mozambique, Chris was blown up by a landmine, losing his lower right arm and leg.

Chris helps people to do what they do, better. By drawing on his extraordinary experiences and achievements, Chris offers valuable insights into how people and organisations can go the extra mile.
