Media Release: Business law specialists to meet at global forum

BUSINESS law specialists, from around the world will be meeting in London in September, when the American Bar Association (ABA) holds its second global business law forum focusing on cross-border transactions.

The Law Society of Scotland is one of the partner sponsors of the event which will bring together some of the brightest legal minds from across North America and Europe.

The three-day conference includes 15 sessions focusing on issues around the four business law specialties: mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, creditors’ rights and corporate practice.

Open to both members and non-members of the ABA, the forum provides an ideal platform for business solicitors from the UK, continental Europe and North America to hear and discuss the current issues and developments in cross border transactions as well as offering opportunity for networking with lawyers, barristers and solicitors from around the world.

Early bird registration is available until 21 July, with advance registration open until 29 August. The conference runs from 21 – 23 September and will be held in the Intercontinental London Park Lane Hotel.
