Media Release: Pout Edinburgh: an event for the girls

DESIGNED to bring together premium brands, products and services, Pout Edinburgh is a fashion, beauty and lifestyle event for women aged 16-60 from across Edinburgh and The Lothians.

Pout, an event for the girls, will have opportunities to shop, experience, touch, try and learn, and  offers exhibitors a unique chance to showcase their brands and have face to face interaction with women who have a genuine interest in their products and services.

With more than 20 years’ experience promoting and running events in Edinburgh, the Corn Exchange have an exceptional local expertise, strong unique brand and clear understanding what Edinburgh women want from an event.

Marcos managing director, Paul Demarco, said: “As an innovative and forward thinking business, we recognised that in challenging economic times taking control and driving our own success is key to the company’s future.

“Our venue database has over 25,000 contacts as a result of producing the successful Edinburgh Wedding Fair for the past nine years and running Christmas parties and corporate events.

“Eighty per cent of this database is women, giving us a captive target audience, all of whom already have a relationship with the venue.”

Pout Edinburgh will run over three days in September and include The Market Place (main stand area), The Bubbly Bar, Pop Up Shops, Le Monde Cocktail Bar, Paterson SA Salon, Café, Presentation Stages and Brow and Nail Bars.

Organisers are hosting a Friday preview evening, designed with business groups in mind, and believe this unique formula is a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, many of whom will be showcasing their services at Pout.

As a venue led event, Edinburgh Corn Exchange are in a position to keep costs low and invest heavily in marketing and promotion. This saving is passed onto exhibitors with space starting at £125 per square metre for shell stands. Pout Edinburgh is expecting an average spend of £75 per person, based on their research, which could generate business of up to £375K based on expected visitor numbers.

Paul added: “Our track record in retaining over 80% of exhibitors at The Edinburgh Wedding Fair held bi-annually speaks volumes on our success. Exhibitors only return again and again if we provide the footfall, service and enthusiasm in bundles, and the team do just that.”
