Media Release: Giving epilepsy a sporting chance

A BENEFIT tribute to raise funds for Epilepsy Scotland will be held on Monday 4 June in memory of young Natalie Hughes from East Kilbride. Over 100 people will take part in a second annual golf tournament to commemorate Natalie who tragically passed away in 2011.

Sponsor, Taggart’s Motor Group, are offering a Nissan Juke Ascenta Sport for any lucky player who can score a hole-in-one on the 17th hole at Wishaw Golf Club on the day.

Group financial controller of Taggart’s Motor Group, Brian McCoo, said: “We are delighted and privileged to support the Funky Natz Foundation and hope that our involvement helps to bring awareness to this worthwhile cause.”

Other prizes include a set of Callaway Razr X Irons and a four-day break to the five-star Le Meridien, Penina Resort, courtesy of Taggart’s Motor Group.

The Funky Natz Foundation, who organise the event, have already raised over £24,000 in Natalie’s memory from various events including the 2011 golf tournament, women’s 10K, a dinner-dance and family donations.
