Media Release: Edinburgh’s Pommery Champagne Cafe Bar pops up once more

ON the back of rave reviews for its first Fringe run in 2011, Edinburgh’s pop-up Pommery Champagne Cafe Bar will once again bring festival fizz and sparkle to the iconic Signet Library.

Making a triumphant return to the festival city, the Cafe Bar will be open daily throughout August from 11am until late.

And with the stunning Signet Library throwing open its doors for three weeks only, this is an unique opportunity for visitors to experience a true taste of Edinburgh’s impressive history.

As the books make way for the bubbly, the elegant library will be transformed into a buzzing haven for performers and festival goers alike.

Famously described by King George IV as “the finest drawing room in Europe” and promising exquisite champagnes, beautifully-crafted cocktails, coffees and tempting afternoon teas, where better to indulge in the festival sport of celebrity spotting?

A partnership between award-winning caterers Heritage Portfolio and The Society of Writers to Her Majesty’s Signet, the pop up Pommery Champagne Café Bar at the Signet Library will be open from 3-27 August.
