QUEL Vin, the new wine merchant on Great Western Road in Glasgow’s West End, is supporting Organic Month in September with a series of free in-store wine tastings each Saturday from 12 noon with an evening tasting on Friday 30th September from 6pm – run by Linda Ward of organic wine specialist, Vintage Roots.
In response to customer requests and a firm business belief in choosing products that are the best examples of their type and region, Quel Vin has started to stock a comprehensive range of well priced organic and biodynamic wines, most of which are also vegetarian friendly, and which cater for all occasions, be it a get together with friends or a special dinner party.
Quel Vin manager Jin Griffiths, said: “We’ve taken time to choose a range of wine made from organic grapes and are really pleased with the choices on the shelves.
“Many of these producers are award-winning in the mainstream wine industry and in international competitions, which demonstrates the quality of these products.
“Equally importantly though is the feedback we have had from customers, they are loving the wine and coming back for more!”
Only recently opened in the former Oddbins outlet, Quel Vin is already gaining an excellent reputation for customer service, carefully-chosen wines and a friendly team that cares passionately about great flavours and interesting choices.
Organic Month is the UK’s celebration of ‘all things organic’ led by the Soil Association.
