AYRSHIRE-based outdoor advertising solutions company Posterplus Media Group has launched its new website at www.posterplus.co.uk.

The new Posterplus website has been created by another Ayrshire company Essence Creative Solutions.
Essence Creative Solutions director Craig Beck commented: “The main aims of the new website were to bring it up to date from both a visual standpoint as well as a technical one.
“The new website layout not only displays Posterplus’s unique products in a much more appealing and professional way, but also incorporates numerous ‘calls to action’ to encourage enquiries or further investigation. Finding the information the visitor requires has been made much easier, and the information provided within is much more comprehensive.
“The site has been coded to comply with the latest web standards and accessibility guidelines. This makes the website cross-browser and cross-platform compatible, meaning it can be viewed on any modern web browser or mobile device. In addition the new coding helps minimise page loading times and enables users with visual disabilities to navigate around the site easily.
“The final factor in the redesign of the Posterplus website, and possibly the most important, was improving the search engine friendliness of the site. A large array of search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques were employed while building the website to guarantee the site’s success in search engines such as Google and Yahoo.”
Posterplus Media Group has experienced a period of continuing growth so far in 2011.
Managing director Gavin Hollywood commented: “Despite the general restrictions on marketing budgets with companies in the UK, Posterplus Media Group has gained many new clients this year including Dobbies, Glasgow City Council, Ayr Central, Virgin Active and Sainsbury’s.
“In addition we have been working almost every week with Tesco across the UK as part of their store opening & store support campaigns.
“New formats have been introduced including the new Super 6 Sheets & The Tower.
“Our website now lists test cases and new testimonials.
“In common with other companies, we are working in what continues to be a challenging and uncertain economic environment. Nevertheless, because of the quality of our advertising solutions and the excellence of the service that we offer to clients old and new, we remain cautiously optimistic about our continuing growth for the rest of this year and into next.”
