INSTALEC Technology Group (ITG), one of Scotland’s largest IT solutions providers, has announced the acquisition of Grampian Electrical Services Limited (GES).
Aberdeen based, GES were formed in 2001 and are a multi-disciplined electrical services provider with a wide range of high profile clients from Weatherford and Wood Group to John Lewis plc.
To support the joint venture, directors, Andy Adams and Scott Findlay, will join Duncan Booth, managing director of Instalec Building Support Services (a division of ITG) to drive the combined business forward and provide ITG’s existing client base with a wider portfolio of services.
ITG will retain all GES staff as part of the deal and will be adding to the team as a result of increasing demand for their services.
This news comes just five months after ITG announced an MBO, the appointment of a new group chair, Steve Higgins, significant growth plans and one month after they announced a joint venture with i -Spot Ltd and an Edinburgh office.
