PARENTS are being invited to take their kids to The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns for a free Halloween craft workshop this Saturday.

Taking place from 12 noon till 4pm on Saturday 29th October, the workshop will show kids of all ages how to make their own bats, cats, hats, creepy crawlies – in fact, all they need to spook their friends and parents!

Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “Halloween seems to be growing in popularity every year – the kids just love it – and this year we’re giving them a chance to put the frights up Mum and Dad with their very own scary creations.”

The Saturday craft workshop will be followed on Monday 31st October, Halloween itself, with Michelle, and all other Avenue staff, donning their own Halloween costumes to dish out chocolate skeletons and other ghoulish goodies on the mall throughout the day.

The Avenue Shopping Centre offers shoppers an alternative to sprawling trolley-dash shopping culture with a comprehensive range of outlets offering a warm and welcoming shopping experience conveniently located on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre.
