Paisley is set to be buzzing on November 5th as the Piazza Shopping Centre’s annual Santa Parade kicks off a day not to be missed for all the family.
Setting off from County Square at 12 noon, the parade will see Santa proceed through Paisley town centre before arriving back at the Piazza to officially open his Grotto and find out what little Buddies want for Christmas!
Joining Santa and his real reindeer in the Piazza Parade will be the Paisley Pipe Band, Scottish Rockettes, Lorna Welsh Dance Troup, PACE Youth Theatre, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves in their horse drawn carriage, and of course who can forget the Toy Makers Union, the Snow Queen, and many more!  Activities will also be taking place throughout the day in Paisley town centre in the run up to this year’s Christmas Lights Switch On and Fireworks Celebration, bringing the perfect opportunity to start your Christmas shopping in style.
A visit, gift and photograph with Santa in his “Snow White” Grotto costs just £5, with all monies raised by the Grotto being donated to local charity St Vincent’s Hospice.  More information on opening hours can be found both in the Mall and online at www.piazzapaisley.co.uk.

Maureen Hill, Piazza Centre Manager, commented:

“This year’s Santa Parade is set to be even more exciting than ever, and our Snow White themed Grotto and display is sure to delight shoppers of all ages! At this time of year all of our stores are set for the busy Christmas season, so it’s a great chance to get a head start on finding your festive look and some great gifts, too!”
