A GREAT day out for the whole family lies in store as Turnberry Resort introduces monthly Sunday Brunches in its 1906 Restaurant this weekend.

Starting this Sunday 6 November and following on for the first Sunday of each subsequent month, the Ayrshire-based resort will serve up a sumptuous Sunday brunch, featuring a buffet starter, traditional main and mouth-watering dessert from their award-winning culinary team.

To further enhance the wonderful atmosphere and breathtaking views in 1906, live entertainment during brunch will add to the offering within the signature restaurant.

Priced at a very reasonable £22 per adult and £11 per child, the Sunday Brunch offering is especially ideal for families with two hours of complimentary childcare included for young ones at Turnberry’s new Wee Explorers playroom and crèche, and with The Little Turnberry Farm walk families can conclude a perfect family day out.

In addition to the monthly event, the resort will also serve brunch on special occasion Sundays including Mother’s Day and Easter.

Turnberry general manager, Jordi Tarrida, said: “As a family-friendly resort, Turnberry is an ideal place for a Sunday Brunch. We have strong culinary ties in the area, through our local sourced ingredients, which we aim to build on with the monthly Sunday buffet.

“To ensure a great experience for all ages we’ve included some complimentary time for children aged 3-12 years within The Wee Explorers, giving parents an opportunity to enjoy a bit of relaxation at the end of their week.”
