THE highest pay deal for Santa this Christmas might well be found at Musselburgh.
That’s because The Quay Complex at Musselburgh’s quaint Fisherrow Harbour is currently searching for a Santa Claus to hand out presents to all the good boys and girls dining there on Christmas day – and the pay rate is believed to be the highest in Britain!
Renowned entrepreneur, Charan Gill, owner of The Quay Complex, said: “The search is still on for the perfect Santa to drop into The Quay on Christmas Day.
“The task is proving proving more difficult than expected – one applicant informed me that he was more than willing to work on Christmas Day because he didn’t believe in Christmas!”
The Quay has subsequently increased Santa’s pay rate. Up for grabs for the perfect Santa Claus is £50 for two hours work – and a free meal for Mr and Mrs Claus in the New Year.
There are two Christmas meals at The Quay on Christmas Day from 1pm and Santa will be there from 3pm.
