RENFREWSHIRE Chamber is encouraging local businesses of all sizes to join and save 25 per cent of their first year membership fee from the 9th January 2012.
Established in 1964 and based at Glasgow Airport in Paisley, the fully-accredited Chamber has a team of seven led by chief executive, Bob Davidson, and are on course to reach 600 members by the end of March 2012.
Bob commented: “2011 was a very good year for the Chamber, record growth and record number of events; being recognised by our peers, reaching the final of the UK Chamber of the Year was a first, and winning an award for our iPhone / Android app.”
The Chamber is overseen by a voluntary board of directors from the membership led by president Tom Johnston, whose day job is head of retail (Scotland) for Colliers International.
Chamber membership brings many benefits to businesses from all sizes and sectors, e.g.
- Networking – via our many events, seminars and forums
- Marketing – via our website, magazine, eNews, social media and apps
- Access to discounted products and services including HR, legal, health and finance

Commenting on the New Year 25 per cent-off deal, Bob said: “The 25 per cent is always a popular offer.
“It is marketed across radio, bus adverts and our own channels.
“New members will not only save 25 per cent off their first year fee, that starts at 25p a day, but also get their first networking lunch for free.
“We are a relatively small Chamber, that acts local, but has big ambitions. To help your business grow and prosper, get your new year off to a great start and join Renfrewshire Chamber.”
