DOWNHOLE Products are celebrating the success of their Australian office, less than six months after it opened.
Since the Aberdeenshire-based company opened in Perth, Australia in September 2011, it has secured business worth $750,000 and 2012 looks set to see the company continue to grow in the region.
Commenting on the success of the Australian office, Downhole Products managing director, Ian Kirk, said: “In the short time it has been operational, our Australian branch has already played a key role in the ongoing success of the company and we are excited about the wealth future possibilities which exist in and around this region.”
Downhole Products are a world market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of casing accessories and completion tools such as centralisers, reamer guide shoes and cable clamp protectors. The most recent addition to their product offering is CaseBit, a joint development with American parent company Varel International which incorporates patent pending features designed to ensure effective drilling and smooth drill-out for the following string.
