Media Release: Cuckoo’s Bakery hatch six ‘eggs-cellent’ Easter cupcakes


SO long winter blues, spring has officially sprung, and to celebrate this wonderful time of year, Cuckoo’s Bakery have created six delicious and uplifting seasonal Easter treats!

Whether you are an Easter traditionalist or an egg obsessed chocoholic, these cupcakes have got it covered… Poor Easter bunny will be out of a job as Cuckoo’s are the new Easter authority in town!

If spring had a taste, these cupcakes would be it….

Cuckoo’s Simnel – Rich simnel cake topped with almond buttercream and traditional simnel decoration.

Creme Egg – Chocolate sponge filled with a creme egg inspired ganache. Topped with chocolate buttercream and a whole creme egg – Yum!

Lavender & White Chocolate – Fragrant lavender sponge filled with homemade lavender custard, topped with lavender and white chocolate buttercream, pastel mini eggs and a pretty ‘Happy Easter’ sugar plaque.

St Clements - A sweet symphony of Lemon and ginger sponge filled with lemon curd and topped with lemon cream cheese frosting. Finished with candied orange and sugar flowers – Your taste buds will be singing with delight!

Absolutely Chocolate - Chocolate sponge filled with chocolate ganache, topped with chocolate buttercream and a clutch of chocolate eggs and decorations – A chocolate lover’s dream!

Caramel Cinnamon - Cinnamon sponge filled with sea salted caramel, topped with a caramel cream cheese frosting and caramel filled eggs. Eggs-quisite!

Cuckoo’s will bake these cupcake fresh for you, before placing them in a box decorated with ribbon and Easter card  – all for £17.50.  Or, each cupcake can be purchased individually for £2.50, if you can pick a favourite….
