Media Release: AVC rated top four design agency in Scotland

AVC Creative, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AVC Media Enterprises, has been named the fourth-top ranking design agency in Scotland, according to The Drum’s Design top 100.

The Aberdeen-based agency also ranks in 61st place overall, out of the whole of the UK.

The Drum, a news outlet for the marketing and media industry, compiled the design top 100 from a survey of the most prominent agencies operating in design in the UK.

From graphic design studios to digital agencies and integrated shops, the list ranks agencies on their UK fee income from design activities for the 2011 calendar year.

Spencer Buchan, managing director of AVC Creative, comments: “Having only set up AVC Creative three years ago, this ranking comes as a fantastic achievement to us.

“In such as short space of time we have established our place amongst the big players, also achieving recognition in the Recommended Agency Register (RAR) top 100 agencies outside London this year.

“Our team works to ensure that we deliver dynamic marketing and branding solutions that are designed to engage, inform and motivate business.

“By working across the full marketing spectrum we are able to achieve consistently creative messaging in a variety of formats for maximum results – no matter what sector.

“Our dedication and enthusiasm for original and inspiring design has helped us win work with big brands such as Glenfiddich Distillery, PGAs of Europe, Stena Drilling, Maersk Training and Transocean.

“Here at AVC, we believe in nurturing young talent. Without this talent we wouldn’t be where we are today. I would like to congratulate the team here at AVC Creative for all their hard work and dedication to the production of some of the best work in the industry.”
