TAKE a snap that reflects your idea of luxury and be in with a chance of enjoying a break at some of Scotland’s top hotels.
That’s the concept behind the photo competition being run by Connoisseurs Scotland.
To commemorate 20 years of promoting the best of luxury accommodation throughout Scotland, Connoisseurs Scotland are holding a series of monthly photographic competitions during 2012.
Visitors to their web site are being invited to submit photographs which reflect some aspect of a luxury vacation in Scotland.
It might be a wonderful landscape, a friendly face, delicious food, a favourite shop or street scene, or that privileged moment in a tranquil spot that makes a vacation so memorable.
The competition uses an unique voting system which enables anyone online to cast their vote for their favourite photo.
The organisers hope the competition might capture that special unique moment which embodies the idea of luxury as not simply a five-star experience but something unique and special which makes Scotland such a special place to visit.
Each month, from April to September, the entry with the most votes will receive the monthly prize of a luxury mini break.
At the end of the six months all the monthly winners plus a selection of entries chosen by the judges will be gathered together and an overall winner will be chosen.
The grand prize is a luxury ten-day vacation in some of Connoisseurs Scotland’s five-star hotels. Everyone is encouraged to enter and the prize is valid for 12 months which gives overseas entrants the chance to take time to plan their vacation.
