Media Release: One space left on cycling trip to the Midi-Pyrenees

Join us on an active press trip and pedal your way through the Midi-Pyrénées to immerse yourself in its natural beauty and to discover its historical sites from 21 – 24 June 2012

SEE some of Southwest France’s most beautiful sites and sights at cycling speed along the Midi Canal and through its local towns:

  • Tour the medieval town of Revel and visit the museum and gardens of the Midi Canal in Saint Ferréol, a UNESCO listed site.
  • Cycle from down the Midi Canal from the lock of Renneville to the lock of Aiguesvives and from Valence d’Agen to Moissac and then on to Montech!
  • Enjoy a bicycle tour of Toulouse and see sites including that of the capitol, the Saint Sernin Basilisk and the beautiful monastic architecture of the Jacobin worship complex.
  • Discover the town of Montauban, the mother of France’s southwest medieval bastions and hometown of artists Emile Antoine Bourdelle and Jean-Auguste Dominique Ingres.
