RENFREWSHIRE Chambers annual business to business event held on the May 10 at Paisley Town Hall attracted 250 delegates across the day.

The 30-exhibitor event was formally opened on the day by the Minister for Local Government and Planning, Derek Mackay MSP, along with Chamber president, Tom Johnston.

The day was filled with ten seminars covering topics such as social media, crowdfunding and the latest council initiatives including Invest in Renfrewshire.

The Minister gave a keynote address to an audience of 75 on ‘Independence – what it means for Scotland and Renfrewshire’ and commented: “This Government is committed to promoting prosperity in Scotland and much of this depends on the performance of our businesses – both large and small.

“That is why I was delighted to address the Renfrewshire Chambers’ annual business to business event.”

Chamber president, Tom Johnston, said: “Thank you to all the exhibitors, speakers and attendees for supporting the largest event of its kind in Renfrewshire. The event aims to showcase what products & services are available in Renfrewshire and give delegates the opportunity to network, learn and ultimately inspire them to grow and prosper.”
