LUXURY venue, the Roxburghe Hotel in Kelso, has appointed Sarah-Kaye Hook as the new manager of the Hotel health and beauty suite.

Recently joining from Edinburgh’s Harvey Nichols, Sarah has brought years of experience within the industry to the in house salon which offers the best in treatments to guests and locals.

Set within the grounds of the gorgeous Scottish Borders hotel, the health and beauty suite is an independent business venture formed by a partnership between beauty therapist, Sarah-Kaye Hook and the Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe.

A former employee of the hotel, Sarah has retained her love for working as part of the team and has now returned in her current role.

Speaking about Sarah’s appointment, general manager, Duncan Evans, comments:  “We are so pleased that Sarah has come back to the Roxburghe.

“With our recent refurbishment of the Hotel’s public rooms now complete, her skill and experience offers guests first class beauty treatments while staying in beautiful interiors and the peaceful surroundings of the estate.”

Sarah-Kaye Hook comments: “I jumped at the chance to return to The Roxburghe Hotel! When I first came to the estate almost ten years ago, I fell in the love with the hotel’s location, the beautiful views over the lawns and the friendly and professional team that works here.

“I consider myself to be very lucky to have worked in such a lovely place and it’s great to be back.”

The recognised Decléor salon offers a range of face and body treatments.

Therapists give expert skin advice free of charge and product gift sets and starter packs are available to purchase. The Roxburghe health and beauty suite is the only salon offering the specialist slimming wrap treatment BioSlimming, in the Kelso area.

Part of the Roxburghe Estate which includes the historic Floors Castle, the hotel has recently undergone a refurbishment of its public rooms, introducing country house style with a contemporary twist.

It is the Duke and Duchess’s personal touches that make Roxburghe Hotel so special.  From the furnishings and paintings from the Duke’s own home, to his hand on the wine list, golf experience and country pursuits, the hotel is a true home from home with character and personality throughout.
