Media Release: AmbITion Scotland nominated for top digital industry awards

AMBITION Scotland’s website, www.getambition.com, is a finalist in the professional services website category at this year’s The Drum Awards for the Digital Industries (the Dadis).

Recognising and rewarding digital excellence, the Dadis are now in their sixth year.

The awards bring together individuals and companies at the forefront of digital developments and provide the opportunity for those entering to prove how good they are.

AmbITion Scotland is a £1million digital development programme specifically designed to support individuals and organisations working in the arts, culture and heritage sectors in Scotland.

It helps organisations and individuals grow in their capability, capacity, creativity and confidence to make the most of the opportunities presented by digital technologies.

AmbITion helps organisations become digitally fitter so they can adapt to the social, cultural, and economic changes of the digital technology revolution.

Ashley Hammond Smith, AmbITion’s project manager, commented: “AmbITion Scotland is delighted to be a Dadi finalist. We are very proud of the new site. It is expressly designed to be an accessible resource for the cultural sector’s ongoing digital development and we are very pleased that it’s been recognised in this way.”

AmbITion Scotland is supported by The National Lottery through Creative Scotland, and is a core piece of Creative Scotland’s Cultural Economy Programme.

The AmbITion website, www.getambition.com is co-produced by Culture Sparks & Rudman Consulting and has been developed by Pooka Pro.

The winners will be revealed at the Dadi awards ceremony on November 8 at London’s Emirates Stadium.
