Media Release: Tricker PR secures nine nominations in prestigious industry awards

ABERDEEN-based PR firm Tricker PR has secured a total of nine industry award nominations.

The company has been shortlisted in two categories in the Scottish Event Awards and in five categories in the 2012 Chartered Institute of PR (CIPR) PRide Awards.

Creation of the world’s first ever venison ice-cream for the Royal Deeside and Cairngorms Venison Festival has ‘scooped’ Tricker PR a place in the finalist shortlist in the Not for Profit and Best Use of Media Relations categories, of the CIPR PRide Awards.

The Venison Festival campaign has also been recognised in the Best Product Launch category in the Scottish Event Awards.

Tricker PR also secured a further three nominations in the CIPR PRide Awards.

The Aberdeen Asset Management Universities Boat Race has been shortlisted in the Best Sporting Campaign and Corporate Responsibility category, alongside the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Traditional Boat Festival.

The Festival, which is held in Portsoy is also in the finals of the Best Use of Sponsorship and Best Traditional Event categories at the Scottish Event awards.

The Scottish Event Awards take place on Thursday 6th September 2012 and the CIPR PRide Awards take place on Thursday 6th December 2012.
