LEADING chartered surveyors, DM Hall, have announced that the Aberdeen office has secured a number of significant deals in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire in the past two months.
These include acting on behalf of growing firm Sabre Safety Ltd in the acquisition of a new office and warehouse facility on Howemoss Drive within Kirkhill Industrial Estate, Dyce.
The premises, which extend to over 10,000 sq. ft., were acquired on a new ten year lease at a rental of £125,000 per annum.
DM Hall has also sold a detached office, warehouse and yard on Wellheads Place, Dyce to international firm LV Shipping.
The facility extends to over 9,000 sq. ft. plus storage yard and the price achieved reflects the scarcity of industrial premises currently available to purchase in the city.
Outwith Aberdeen, DM Hall also acted on behalf of expanding FPSO integrity management specialists Marine Technical Limits Ltd in the acquisition of new, bespoke facilities within Midmill Business Park South, Kintore.
These premises extend to over 13,000 sq. ft and were acquired on a design, build and lease package on a new, 15-year lease from local developer, Malcolm Allan.
Commenting on the busy period, DM Hall Associate, Trevor Morgan, said: “We are delighted to have been involved in these significant deals where we have achieved good results on behalf of our clients at a time when supply is limited and demand is strong.”
Partner, Stuart Johnston, added: “The higher oil price has led to recent strong demand in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire and it is notable that clients are taking space at locations such as Kintore due to spiralling occupational costs and the limited availability of well specified property in the city.”
DM Hall’s Aberdeen office is located at 259 Union Street, Aberdeen, AB11 6BR. To find out more visit www.dmhall.co.uk or call (01224) 594172.
