Captains’ Charity Day – Presentations
CAPTAINS, Aidan McCormack and Barbara Ardagh, held a very successful Captains Charity Day at the club on August 13th 2012.
The beneficial charities were:
- Pieta House, Suicide and Self Harm Crisis Centre, www.pieta.ie
- Ranchod Hospice and Day Care Centre, Kawbe, Zambia.
The day and associated donations generated over €10,900, split evenly between the two charities.
The cheques were presented to the charities on August 23rd 2012, at the club.
Speaking at the presentation, captain, Aidan McCormack, said: “We are very pleased that Luttrellstown Castle Golf & Country Club has supported this very worthy event. The club now has over 120 members, with male and female membership growing. We are delighted that the two charities have benefited from the generosity of the members and friends of the club.”
