Media Release: Claes Svensson to lead Redeem’s European mobile recycling drive

REDEEM Holdings Limited, the fast-growing provider of environmental and marketing services to mobile network operators (MNOs) and corporates, announces the appointment of Claes Svensson as chief executive officer.

Redeem recently announced two new contracts with MNOs and Mr Svensson joins to spearhead the group’s expansion into Continental Europe.

Claes Svensson was formerly corporate vice-president, Western Europe, and global customer organisation at SonyEricsson in Munich, where he was responsible for a €3 billion business unit.

During his 18 year-career with SonyEricsson, he held a variety of senior positions in Europe and Asia, developing strong relationships with leading global MNOs.

Mr Svensson, a Swedish national, will relocate to Scotland and takes up his position on 10 September 2012.
