HMV and sister company, Fopp, have re-introduced their student discount offer for a limited period across their UK and Ireland stores to coincide with the first few weeks of the University term.
The discount offer is now live and will run until Sunday, October 14.
The offer has two levels of discount at ten per cent and five per cent (there are some exclusions to the offer, which are listed below).
The levels of discount represent a valuable saving to students on limited budgets, especially on high-value products such as iPods (ten per cent discount), games hardware (five per cent) and sim-free mobiles (five per cent).
The discounts may not, however, be used in conjunction with other promotional offers or online at hmv.com.
To take advantage of this offer customers must show that they are students currently studying at University or Higher Education establishments in the UK or Ireland by providing a valid, in-date official University/Higher Education ID incorporating a photo (eg NUS card).
The discount does not apply to students currently studying in schools or further education (eg Sixth Form Colleges).
See terms & conditions instore.
Full ten per dent discount on: Entertainment content products such as CDs, DVDs, bluray discs and games titles across all platforms as well as books, t-shirts and other related merchandise. Also selected technology, including iPods. The offer also applies to HMV campaigns such as the popular ‘five for £30′ bluray promotion.
Five per cent discount on: Games Hardware (ie consoles and peripherals), computers, tablets (except iPads), sim-free mobile phones (in selected stores only where they are currently part of the HMV offer) and Ultrabooks (in selected stores only where they are currently part of the HMV offer).
Exclusions (no discount) on: iPads, electronic gift cards, iTunes cards, mobile etop-up, tickets and warranties.
