CHILDREN all over the Highlands have been asked to send in their funniest jokes for this year’s Eden Court pantomime Mother Goose.
The Crack a Yolk competition, launched yesterday by children from Kinmylies Primary
School, invites children to send in their jokes on one of the special golden egg templates.
The best jokes will be read out on stage by stars of the panto.
A different joke will be picked for each performance making 56 winners and all of the Crack a Yolk entries will be on display at Eden Court to keep audiences laughing through the pantomime season.
Pantomime sponsor, Hawco Volkswagen, is also offering a special prize for the funniest school in the Highlands.
The school which sends in the jokes that crack the judges up the most will win a £100 book token.
Kevin Hawco, director of Hawco Volkswagen, said: “We are very pleased to be supporting Mother Goose. The pantomime is always great fun and full of laughs for all the family and we hope this year it will be even funnier with the children’s jokes featured in the show.”
