MARKETING Society Scotland is gearing up to host the annual St Andrew’s Day Dinner at the Roxburghe Hotel in Edinburgh on Thursday 29 November, in celebration of Scotland’s creative marketing industry.
As the Year of Creative Scotland draws to a close, the country’s leading marketing industry professionals are coming together to reflect on the achievements of 2012 and look forward to even more creative marketing in the year ahead.
Guests can look forward to inspirational speeches from two of the UK’s greatest marketers. Craig Inglis, a previous UK Marketer of the Year and marketing director of the John Lewis Partnership – the UK Brand of the Year two years in a row, will be talking about the John Lewis award-winning stories.
Rory Sutherland, executive creative director and vice-chair, OgilvyOne London, and vice-chairman, Ogilvy & Mather UK, will reflect on what his own creative inspirations are and why David Ogilvy was such an inspiration to so many.
The Ogilvy Award 2012 will be presented to an inspirational Scot, as nominated by Marketing Society Scotland members.
The event is being sponsored by The Scottish Government, The Famous Grouse, Creative Scotland and the Roxburghe Hotel.
Individual tickets are available from £89 per person and tickets for tables of ten start from £1,099.
