Media Release: Energising escapes for busy women

SCT

A NORTH-east businesswoman is set to launch a new business offering relaxing retreats at a Deeside mansion house.

Dorothy Burke has developed Reenergise to be one of the first weekend retreats available in the area.

The business will offer a range of breaks organised at Douneside House, near Tarland and other lovely venues throughout the year, giving busy men and women a chance to leave their stresses at home and focus on their health and wellbeing.

The first weekend is being launched 1-3 March and has been specially designed to target women with busy lives to take some time out and relax, in the heart of Royal Deeside.

Kicking off with cocktails and dinner prepared by the mansion’s own chef, the weekend will include yoga, massage and makeover sessions, healthy eating workshops to beat stress and boost energy, along with self awareness, writing and creative art classes.

Mrs Burke, who also runs her own IT consultancy business, has succeeded in gaining the support of a range of experts to take part in the weekend. This ensures attendees find their time away is suited to their individual needs.

There are a some inspiring group sessions over the weekend, a range of activity choices and plenty of time to just relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings and countryside walks.

Mrs Burke said: “If you are looking for something more restful than a hectic city break and more meaningful than spa pampering, then this could be a great option.

“We have gathered together some fantastic experts to help attendees get the most from their relaxation time, so they go home feeling fabulous inside and out, with an energy boost and feel-good factor that will last long after the weekend is over.”

Guests can enjoy the entire weekend from Friday evening through to Sunday evening or just attend for one day on either Saturday or Sunday.

Dr Chris Fenn, Eat4Success nutritionist said: “I help women understand how to change their eating habits, have more energy and feel good about themselves.

“Dorothy designed a retreat to ‘reflect’ and ‘reenergise’: these two words sum up what my business is all about and I can’t wait to be part of her team.”

Fenneke Wolters-Sinke, Fenfolio, artist and photographer, said: “The holistic approach, where various professionals from the local area join forces, really appeals to me.

“The fact that this kind of retreat is the first in the North-east has created a wonderful collaboration where we are able to help develop the concept.

“The retreat is a great opportunity to help women get in touch with their creative self again!”

There are still places available for this special weekend retreat.
